Four leadership keys for Churches

Observations from the ministerial development division of the Church of England from Dr. Tim Ling

If you wanna have a flourishing ministry and lead through change you have to take care of yourself. Four leadership things are key:

  1. Sense of calling and context (ground of ministry that gives us confidence)
  2. Collegial support (loving relationship with colleges)
  3. Feedback (a trusted college telling you how it is in a loving and trusting manner)
  4. Role crafting behaviour (feel save to try new things; intentional change about the way I approach relationships, tasks and situations)
