Observations from the ministerial development division of the Church of England from Dr. Tim Ling
If you wanna have a flourishing ministry and lead through change you have to take care of yourself. Four leadership things are key:
- Sense of calling and context (ground of ministry that gives us confidence)
- Collegial support (loving relationship with colleges)
- Feedback (a trusted college telling you how it is in a loving and trusting manner)
- Role crafting behaviour (feel save to try new things; intentional change about the way I approach relationships, tasks and situations)
